Nunez "has undergone arthroscopy to treat a rupture of the external meniscus of his right knee" and "is expected to be out for six months," according to Barcelona's official website.
ANALYSIS
Barcelona gave Nunez a couple weeks to recover after announcing in late February that he would miss time with a right knee injury, but after undergoing follow-up exams it was determined that he would require a procedure to get back to 100 percent. His recovery timeline rules him out for the remainder of the current campaign as well as any summer competitions, but it does give him a chance to be in the mix when the 2025-26 EuroLeague season begins.
